The product

  • Who is CodeCheck Pro for?

CodeCheck Pro helps contractors, roofing and restoration companies, adjusters, public adjusters, supplement teams, and other property claim professionals review adjuster summaries for potentially missing building code requirements. Findings include supporting citations and source links.

  • How does CodeCheck Pro identify the applicable building codes?

CodeCheck Pro uses the property location and available claim details to identify the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ). It reviews the locally adopted code edition, relevant effective dates, and available local amendments for supported locations. You may be asked to confirm details before the review. Findings include the sources used.

  • Does CodeCheck Pro write or price an adjuster summary?

No. The current product reviews adjuster summaries for potentially missing building code requirements and provides supporting citations. It does not write or price an adjuster summary.

  • Does CodeCheck Pro replace an insurance adjuster?

No. CodeCheck Pro is a professional review tool that helps identify potentially missing building code requirements in an adjuster summary. It provides supporting citations and source links but does not replace an insurance adjuster, contractor, or other qualified professional. Users remain responsible for reviewing findings and making claim-related decisions.

  • What does a CodeCheck Pro finding look like?

A finding identifies a building component or requirement that may be missing from an adjuster summary. It explains why the requirement may apply and provides supporting building code citations and direct source links. Reports may also identify items already included in the adjuster summary or issues requiring manual review.

  • What documentation does CodeCheck Pro generate?

CodeCheck Pro generates a downloadable PDF report containing available property and claim details, the applicable jurisdiction, reviewed work, potentially missing code-required items, and supporting citations with direct links to the sources. The report helps contractors and public adjusters document potential omissions when preparing supplements. It does not write or price an adjuster summary.
